Hospice Mid-Northland recently hosted a deeply moving memorial service, bringing together two families to honour their loved ones and add their names to our Kowhai Memorial Wall.
The Kowhai is the official flower of Hospice and represents care, connection, and remembrance. The memorial tree design reflects these values, symbolising the support Hospice provides to patients and families through life’s most difficult moments.
More than just an art piece, the memorial wall stands as a permanent place of love, friendship, and reflection. It offers a quiet space for families, friends, and our wider community to visit and remember those who have been part of the Hospice journey.
We extend our sincere thanks to Monica, Gladys, Suz, and Sue for their support in making this service so meaningful. It was a poignant occasion that brought families and the Hospice team together in a shared moment of remembrance.
