    Bereavement Support

Bereavement Support offers a safe, compassionate space for people and whānau moving through grief after the loss of someone they love. Our team provides listening, guidance, and connection to support that respects each person’s own pace and experience of loss.

    Support after loss

Compassionate support for people navigating grief after the death of a loved one.

    Guidance for whānau

Support for family, friends, and carers as they work through loss together.

    Someone to talk to

A safe space to be heard, understood, and supported without judgment.

    Support Through Grief

Grief is personal, and for some people it can feel overwhelming or complex. Our Bereavement Support team offers a compassionate space to talk, reflect, and begin to make sense of loss. Support is available for family, friends, and carers of someone who has received Hospice Mid-Northland care in the last year.

You Do Not Have to Grieve Alone

Our team can help connect you with support, information, and someone to talk to when you need it.

    How We Can Help

    Listening and emotional support

A confidential space to talk through feelings, grief reactions, and what life feels like now.

    Practical guidance

Support with navigating anniversaries, family conversations, coping strategies, and next steps.

    Connection to further support

Help linking with group sessions, resources, and other community-based support when needed.
