Battle of the Ballroom – Event Synopsis (EVENING)

16 Dancers -  12 Weeks - 1 Dance

Who will be crowned the winners of Hospice Mid-Northland Battle of the Ballroom 2018

Bravely accepting the challenge and to support Hospice Mid-Northland, 16 locals have given up their time and put their fear aside to put on an incredible show for our Community.

Paired together then given 12 weeks to learn 1 dance, 8 couples, mostly newly met, will compete in a fundraising event to have the ultimate moves on the dance floor.

Hospice Mid-Northland receives 46% of its funding from the Northland District Health Board, but in order to continue to provide its free palliative care service in the community, they need to fundraise to meet the shortfall.

Our hope is that this event will not only raise $40,000, but that it also raises the awareness of how important and vital Hospice Services are in our Community.

Hosted by TV personality and presenter Mike Puru, and with a celebrity judging panel including Jackie Clarke and Troy Kingi, get set to be wowed and wooed as they also perform for us on the night.

Dust off your tuxedo, dry clean that ballgown and polish your shoes! This black-tie event promises it all – glitz, glamour, entertainment, fashion, excitement and or course DANCING!

Battle of the Ballroom – Event Synopsis (MATINEE)
